Should I Stay Or Should I Go
Many people try and time the market when buying and selling their homes or property. It is generally thought that from around March to July is a good time to sell a house, especially when the area that you live in has four seasons. while this has traditionally had some validity to it, the real estate market is fluid and is always subject to ebbs and flows.
The last two years or so, this traditional way of operating has been changing. We are not seeing the great influx of homes hitting the market like we used to. Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley and Dewey-Humboldt have not seen a great influx of homes, especially in the under $300,000 range. It is and has been for the last few years a sellers market under $300k. If homes are priced properly, they are selling very quickly, often times generating multiple offers.
What I am attempting to say here is, if you have a home that you are considering putting on the market in the $300,000 price range, there is no need to try and time the market and wait until next March to list your property. The market is red hot for homes under $300k and will continue to be so, well into the future.
If you need any help with listing your property or finding a home, my team and I would love the opportunity to be of service to you with your real estate endeavors.
