July 4th In Prescott

Red, white and blue banners on light posts, families lining the main street during a parade, flags waving and the smell of cinnamon roasted almonds in the air...Think you're in a movie? No, it's Prescott, Arizona.  I find myself in wonder many times during the holidays at the timeless grace of our town.  When friends visit during those times, the quaintness of Prescott flashes before my eyes again.  They usually turn to me and say, "What a wonderful town you live in!"   I find myself thinking the exact same thing as if it was the first time I visited Prescott.  Victorian manors, a quaint downtown square and a festive court house lawn complete with a clock tower makes one feel as though you stepped out of a time machine that may resemble a silver sports car from the 1980's. It actually surprises me that I have not seen that DeLorean from Back to the Future at one of our local car shows, but that is what Prescott is all about.  Doing celebrations right.

The fourth of July is no exception and remains a contender for my favorite time of year in Prescott.  The 4th of July Parade, the Rodeo, Fairs and fire works make Prescott the "come to" location in Northern Arizona.

Check out the links below to see a list of all the activities happening this weekend in Prescott.  From the Rodeo to the all day festivities on the 4th that will literally end with a bang, there is definitely something for everyone here in this great place I am proud to call HOME.

Give me the opportunity to show you Prescott and maybe one day you will call Prescott your hometown too!
