The Glassford Hill Trail may seem easy when tackling it by foot, but it's a completely different experience when peddling your way to the top.
A BIG DIFFERENCE.
This didn't stop my husband from demanding we spend the afternoon riding from Watson Lake to the Glassford Hill Trail-head in Prescott Valley...and making the slow, agonizing climb to the top. Was it worth it?
ABSOLUTELY!
Did we finish our ride with a beer and grilled pork chops?
HELL YES.
Here are the details about the trail.
Distance: 4.4 miles (round trip)
Elevation Gain: 946 ft.
Difficulty: Beginner (hike), Intermediate (bike)
You can find a great write-up about the trail here:
My husband and I took the long route from Watson Lake to Willow Lake along the Peavine Trail and it was absolutely beautiful. I recommend this trip for a long afternoon adventure.
